Sunset Pacific Transportation is a Southern California consolidator that provides freight consolidation, larger volume LTL, partial truckload, full truckload, and other trucking solutions for clients. We work with large, well-known retailers as a vendor consolidation point.
We act as their local transportation representative in California. We can pick up multiple shipments from your vendors, and consolidate into one shipment direct to final destinations.
We own our own equipment, as well as a full-service logistics company, to provide the reliable capacity that is needed in today’s market.

Volume LTL
Large, volume LTL shipments 4 pallet spots to 24 pallet spots. Save money by paying only for the space you need on the trailer. Save money by shipping larger, and heavier LTL shipments with us from Coast to Coast. LTL is shipped directly from our warehouse to your customer. No multiple terminal cross-docking for zero damages and shortages.
Partial TL
Avoid paying truckload if your load does not fill an entire trailer. Pay only for the space you need on a trailer and save money. Do not pay to ship air!
Truckload
Coast to Coast longhaul truckload. Drop trailer service available. Very competitive rates and available capacity. Teams available for expedited shipments.
Consolidation
Pick up from several vendors in Southern California and consolidate into one large LTL or truckload shipment. Save money and avoid the hassle of multiple shipments.
Load to Ride LTL
Don’t want your fragile shipment to be cross-docked? Load in the front of our trailer and Sunset will not cross-docked to protect your fragile goods.
Port to Door
Pick up containers from Southern CA port, cross-dock, sort, segregate, palletize, and ship all the way to final destination, quickly! LCL port to door service also available.
Container Devanning
Our warehouse can unload your container and prepare for shipping.
Warehousing
Our Chino, CA facility can handle all your warehousing needs including short-term storage, consolidation, sorting, segregating, and palletizing. All Shipments handled by experienced personnel with modern equipment.
Redelivery
In town and not able to deliver your shipment due to an inflexible delivery appointment? Freight refused to due shifting, bad pallets, or damages? Bring the shipment to our Chino CA warehouse and we will take care of it for you.
Blanket Wrap
Protect fragile and valuable goods by utilizing blanket wrap service. Truckload or LTL. All trailers are logistics and air ride.
Our company’s LTL “load to ride” structure eliminates damages, shortages, reweighs, and reclassification! Our trucks are equipped with satellite tracking and communications.
